Since 1968
I bought my Bouvier De Flanders from Peter and brought my dog back to them each year for 4 years. My dog was very well trained. I thought it was funny when, just before walking into a store, I told my dog to sit and stay. He sat I walked into store. My dog stayed right where I left him and this little girl could not believe what she saw. It was an impressive site.

My puppy and I completed the Basic Dog Obedience training at Bolshoy K9 Academy . I particularly appreciate that this method of training does not use treats: we learn to communicate with the leash, hand signs and our voice. My puppy has learned well and got unhooked from the use of treats which I feel has strengthened our relationship – she no longer looks to me as a treat dispenser. Pete is clear on what he teaches, providing contingency plans to address ‘creative’ (aka bratty) behaviour that our dogs can sometimes be so good at and progressions when they get it.
So, we know why we’re learning what we’re learning and where we’re going. Pete understands a broad range of dog behaviours and is knowledgeable and supportive to both humans and dogs. I’m looking forward to the advanced class.
